The Independent Transportation Network offers safe rides in private cars -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week anywhere in Sarasota County.

Driving means freedom and independence.  You can have that feeling again.  ITNSarasota is a dignified transportation alternative for seniors and adults with visual impairments, who no longer drive.  Providing arm-in-arm, door-through-door service, which means that we lend an arm to and from their door as well as help carry packages and groceries.

Sign up for an annual membership today and set up a prepaid Personal Transportation  Account.  You never need to carry cash or to tip your drivers.

Program Details:
■  Rides need to be booked by 4:00 pm the previous day
■  Basic Rate is $3.00 for pick-up, then $1.50 per mile (minimum of $6.00 for any ride)
■  Typical cost is approximately 40% less than the average cab ride (and, once again, no tipping)

Volunteer Drivers are always needed and greatly appreciated.
