A Hearing Loop System is the only system that sends the voice of a seminar or meeting speaker directly from the microphone into a listener's hearing aids or cochlear implant. Most hearing aids come equipped with a tiny wireless receiver called a Telecoil or T-coil for short, which makes the reception of this clear, superior sound possible. Hearing Loop Systems, which have made theatres, lecture halls, and so many other places much more accessible for those with hearing loss in other cities, are now starting to pop up at various venues in Sarasota. Come to this session to learn how to take advantage of this new system and the full power of the T-coil in your hearing aids. We recommend consulting your Audiologist concerning the T-coil capabilities of your hearing aids.
During the Seminar at Alderman Oaks, you will be able to personally experience improved hearing that results from T-coil technology and Loop Systems. We will also demonstrate the use of similar Loop Systems presently available at other Sarasota locations.
